The Story
If you’re on this page, it’s possibly because you want to know more about me.
That’s very flattering. Thank you!

Here’s the boring stuff:
Dr. Adam C. Solis received his doctorate from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic
College. During his postgraduate studies, he was the recipient of 8 recognition
scholarship awards, including the Ontario Chiropractic Association Award for
Outstanding Leadership & Service for both the 2018 & 2019 years.
Prior to obtaining his doctorate, he obtained a double major in Biology &
Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University. In his free time he enjoys weightlifting,
eating shawarma, and meticulously marking up every self-development book
Indigo has to offer.
Here’s the treatment stuff:
There is a distinct line between the concepts of PAIN and FUNCTION. While they
oftentimes present together, it is important to delineate the differences between
them to better promote patient recovery and outcomes. Just because something
HURTS does not mean it is WRONG. Just because something DOES NOT HURT does
not mean it is RIGHT. I strive to teach this to my patients, and those who learn it
go the furthest.
And here’s the real stuff:
I’ve seen firsthand the kind of sh*t that happens when your body loses its ability to function the way it’s intended to (completely independent of pain, by the way). It can redefine lives and ripple across entire families. But it’s not all doom and gloom.
Of all my previous clinical experience, the patients I see at this clinic heal quicker, perform better, and improve faster than any location I’ve seen before. Why is that?
3 Reasons - Diversified Care, Patient Empowerment & Community.
Every body is unique. Two individuals with the same age, height, weight, race, sex & injury may respond completely differently to the same intervention. This is why it is prudent to have multiple methods of treating any one condition. While I am a chiropractor, “chiropractic” (spinal manipulative therapy, or “cracking”) is only one part of the whole. Just as important are the skills of Massage Therapy, Physical Therapy, Medical Acupuncture etc. For more information, see “The Methods” in the header above.
In any given patient appointment, it is possible to reduce pain and increase function for a time. However, to truly make lasting change & improvement, it is necessary to empower the patient through education, understanding and know-how about their particular condition, lifestyle, and habits. In this way, the patient can better promote their own health, and reduce the risk of further injury aggravation, disability, and even disease.
Equally as important is the concept of community. One of the most effective things a person can do to build better health and habits is to join a community where the desired change is the norm. This clinical practice is located within Primal Athletics - a gym facility focusing on Personal Training & Group Bootcamp Sessions. This established community is accepting, determined, incredibly skilled and most importantly dedicated to the idea of physical & mental self-improvement. I encourage all of my patients to immerse themselves in our community, and reap the benefits we offer.
