My Web-Developer friends tell me that Blogs are important to push a website up Google search results.
While that’s a nice benefit, I just do it cause it’s fun.
Do Chiropractors Cause Strokes?
There’s a stigma in the Chiropractic profession that may cause hesitation when considering seeing one: does getting neck your adjusted or “cracked” cause strokes?
It is every chiropractor’s professional & legal obligation to have this discussion with patients whose neck they will be adjusting. This video was made to address any concerns brought up by potential patients seeking care for their neck pain, headache & discomfort.
Here, we will be going through multiple studies that examine chiropractic usage and rate of stroke occurrence, comparing it to primary care physician visits and rate of stroke occurrence, and answering the question “Do Chiropractors Cause Strokes?” with data and evidence.

What’s Causing Your Sciatica?
“I have the Sciatica.” – way too many of my patients.
“Sciatica” or “Pain down the Sciatic Nerve” is a common complaint presenting alongside low-back pain. With about 40% of people in the USA expected to experience Sciatica at some point in their life, it’s something that the general population has adopted a mild understanding around.
However, Sciatica can be caused by many different factors. In this video, we’ll list the most commonly presenting diagnoses responsible, the less-common ones to look out for, as well as what you should be doing if you are one of the 40% dealing with it.

Nutrition for Weight Loss (and Gain)
Nutrition can be this big, scary thing for people. A google search for “diet to lose weight” will find you in a cesspool of information with ideas such as “fad diets” or “superfoods” or “one quick trick that doctors hate” to help you shed belly fat. A similar probably also exists googling “diet to gain weight” again recommending specific foods, and even the same foods (like “lean proteins”) as advised for weight loss.
In line with my desire to cut the complicated nonsense out of health, fitness & improvement, it’s time to lay out the process of weight loss and weigh gain through nutrition as honest and simple as possible.
Why Resistance Training (“Lifting”) is NOT DANGEROUS
Do you think anybody wakes up in the morning and thinks to themselves “today’s the day I lift hundreds of pounds over my head until I collapse?"
It sounds ridiculous, but it’s a very common practice. Resistance training definitely sounds dangerous, but just how dangerous is it really?
How Chiros Treat Heart Attacks (Spoiler: We Don’t)
Today’s topic is on a condition so painful, it may easily be mistaken for a heart attack.
The healthcare system is clogged up. Hospital staff regularly work 24 hour shifts, and are expected to perform flawlessly. In order to relieve pressure, alternative healthcare providers (such as Evidence-Based Chiropractors) stand ready.
Rib Dysfunction are one such condition that are better treated by a Chiropractor, than a trip to the ER. Being able to differentiate between a Rib Dysfunction and a genuine heart attack will both calm you in a stressful moment, and get you to the professional you need to recover ASAP.
Canadian Chiro Education (are they “Real” Doctors?)
There are two important reasons for publishing this video, now.
Reason 1: if you’ve ever considered going to see a chiropractor, or are currently under the care of one, it’s important to consider the background of education they have, for you to be fully comfortable in their (literal) hands.
Reason 2: the deadline of application for Canada’s largest Chiropractic school (Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College - CMCC) is November 14th. If you’re a student considering a career in healthcare, it may be worth it to look into a chiropractic education.
We’ll be discussing the education background that (most) modern Canadian chiropractors receive, touch on the student experience during your post-graduate studies, and finally end with the spiciest of questions – “are chiropractors REAL Doctors?”
